Alumni
Welcome to the Njala University Alumni Community Page. This page is available to all past students of the Njala University leaving at home and abroad. We want to stay in touch with you all.
Njala University Alumni Association has been re invigorated by Prof. Joe Pemagbi, Dr. Morie Manyeh and A.B. Ndoeka. The Alumni (Sierra Leone Chapter) held a well attended meeting on 30th May 2009 at The China House in Freetown.
Njala University Alumni (North America Chapter) celebrated 2009 reunion with a big bash. The reunion night in-cooperated an award ceremony by Stars of Sierra Leone (a Non Governmental Organization based in the UK) to honor the role of some special women for their contribution to the Njala community and Sierra Leone as a nation.
As always, Njala reunion night is the place you are sure to always meet someone you have missed in a long time. Guests travelled from as far as London, California, Texas and Africa just to make the event. Even though this year’s occasion was celebrated on a Friday, the turn out and quality of company was fantastic.
Njala University Alumni will always endeavor to create that unique atmosphere which can only be referred to as the ‘Mokonde effect’ with our reunion nights. 2010 reunion will be celebrated on Saturday, Memorial Day weekend, to be followed by a cook-out on the Sunday at a park to be designated.
The Alumni is very thankful for your continued support and we look forward to seeing you and your friends and family next year.
Thank you.
